We are getting ready for our Galena Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on Friday, January 23, 2026. Please mark your calendars! With 2026 being the year of the Bicentennial, we’re going to welcome our Members to “Dress in Theme” of the Roaring 1920s for this lively Friday night event at Galena’s Turner Hall. We encourage our members to bring their teams, spouses and friends to a fun-filled night of food, drink and live music.

Speaking of Food & Drink & Fun, we would like to open a Request for Proposals to our Membership. We would like to showcase as many chamber members as possible that offer services to our community at this event. As you know, the Galena Area Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit, so we’re hoping to keep costs down and increase revenue for future events, but at a per-person-ticket price that our membership can afford. So, please keep that in mind. We are aiming to have 200 people at our event.

We are seeking proposals for:

• Caterers: per-person cost for appetizers, plated or buffet-style dinner, and dessert bar. Please send pricing for each category along with menu options. Incorporating multiple members is ideal.

• Alcohol/Wine Distributors: per-person cost for a 3-hour open bar and cash bar pricing. We are still determining which route is best.

• Coffee Bar Vendors: per-person or total cost, plus a description of your setup.

• Photographers: pricing for a 1920s-themed step & repeat backdrop and event photography.

• Other Services: If your business offers something that could make this event the talk of the town, please send your ideas—we want to showcase YOU!
