The Galena Area Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to begin the 2020 Halloween Spirit Tour!

Registration has now ended!   The Tour officially begins October 1st, through Halloween October-31st 2020

To VOTE for your favorite, please visit our Galena Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page and Click on the this survey/voting link. Only one vote per person. Below is the map of tour locations. It is a list private residences and businesses who have signed up for the tour. Addresses have been listed as a business or residence based on what was filled in on the sign up sheet. The tour begins at Orchard Landing Apple Farm in Hanover, however you can begin the tour from any location and click on the directions button to choose your next destination. For directions from your location, simply click on any address from the list on the right and scroll down to the directions arrow/triangle at the bottom left hand corner of the map box. It will then direct you to the next spot on the tour. 

Voting will begin October 10th and end on October 30th at 5 p.m. ALL VOTING WILL BE ONLINE Winners will be announced on October 31st 2020!

First Place, Second Place and Third Place winners will be chosen for residential and business categories and they will receive a traveling sign that they can display in their yards or storefronts along with an award certificate. The Galena Ghostbusters will be assisting us in passing out the awards.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The contest is open to all individual homes and businesses in Galena, Il. and Jo Daviess County Illinois.

Decorations must represent the Halloween Spirit while remaining PG-13 and tasteful. Any discriminatory or inappropriate decorations will be disqualified. Please remember that children will be a large part of your audience. Judges Decisions are final. Please report any inappropriate decorations to our Chamber office.

You must enroll by Sept 15th 2020 to be included in the tour and considered for voting.

If your decorations include lights and effects please make sure you have them on in the evenings so that they can be enjoyed.
