44th Annual Galena Halloween Parade Event Details
The 44th Annual Galena Area Chamber of Commerce Halloween Parade will be held on Saturday, October 26th on Main Street in downtown Galena, Illinois at 6:30 PM.
Shuttle service for the Galena Area Chamber of Commerce will be at a cost of $5.00 per person for ages 6 years and older.
Shuttle Times from the Walmart Parking Lot
3:00 PM-Shuttle Begins
After Parade-Shuttle Resumes until 9:15 PM
PARADE INFORMATION
After Parade- Shuttles back to Walmart resume until 9:15 PM.
If you are interested in watching the parade from your home, you may view the Halloween Parade on the City of Galena website’s livestream at https://www.cityofgalena.org/.
Safety is our highest regard, so the following safety guards have been established:
- Personal Drones will not be allowed over the Parade route
- Alcohol will not be permitted if you are taking part in the Parade
- Rooftop building viewing of the parade will not be allowed
- The last Shuttle will leave Walmart’s Parking Lot at 5:30 PM. Main Street will be closed at 6:00 PM.
- Cars on the Main Street need to be removed by 3:00 PM
- Candy can be handed out but not thrown.
- Replace your glass containers with something that is not breakable on the Parade route.
- No profanity or disrespect of any kind will be tolerated. This is a family friendly event.
- No firearms, real or fake, will be allowed on the parade route.
- Only small folding chairs will be allowed on buses.
