Event Details

The 44th Annual Galena Area Chamber of Commerce Halloween Parade will be held on Saturday, October 26th on Main Street in downtown Galena, Illinois at 6:30 PM.

Shuttle service for the Galena Area Chamber of Commerce will be at a cost of $5.00 per person for all ages older than 6 years old. The shuttle will leave the Walmart Parking Lot beginning at 4:30 PM until 5:45 PM then return after the Parade with the last shuttle leaving downtown Galena at 9:30 PM.
Handicapped parking will be available by calling City Hall at 815-777-1050 to reserve your spot.

Safety is our highest regard, so the following safety guards have been established: 

  1. Personal Drones will not be allowed over the Parade route
  2. Alcohol will not be permitted if you are taking part in the Parade
  3. Rooftop building viewing of the parade will not be allowed
  4. The last Shuttle will leave Walmart’s Parking Lot at 5:45 PM. Main Street will be closed at 6:00 PM.
  5. Cars on the Main Street need to be removed by 3:00 PM
  6. Candy can be handed out but not thrown.
  7. Replace your glass containers with something that is not breakable on the Parade route.
  8. No profanity or disrespect of any kind will be tolerated. This is a family friendly event.

All entrees must be in no later than October 15, 2024.
