The 42nd annual Galena Area Chamber of Commerce Halloween Parade
Saturday, October 30th – Parade begins at 6:30 p.m.
Shuttles will run beginning at 3 p.m. from the Walmart parking lot located off of US 20, to downtown Galena.
The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at @8:00 p.m.
Please note* For safety reasons the shuttles cannot run during the parade but will resume after the parade and continue until 11 p.m.
The cost of a round trip ticket on the shuttle is $5.00 per person for ages 6 and up. You will be given a wrist band to ride the shuttle. If you do not wish to ride the shuttle you can access the public parking areas for free or paid parking. City Parking Map attached.
This year we are asking the public to bring nonperishable food items to the parade that will then be donated to the local food pantry. These items can be dropped off at the Walmart parking lot shuttle location from 2-11 p.m. on October 30th.

PARKING AND SHUTTLES
Parade Shuttles $5.00 (Round trip)
The Galena Area Chamber of Commerce is offering shuttle bus service from the Walmart parking lot to downtown. The drop off location is (City hall near Main street) Tickets are $5.00 per person for a round trip ticket (ages 6 and up) under 6 rides FREE!
You will receive a parade shuttle bracelet to use for your round trip ticket back to the Walmart parking lot after the parade.
Parade shuttle tickets will be available on October 30th at 2:30 p.m. and shuttles will run from 3-6 p.m. before the parade.
The parade begins at 6:30 p.m.
Please note* SHUTTLES CANNOT RUN DURING THE PARADE FOR THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF ALL PARADE ATTENDEES.
Shuttle service will resume after the parade (approx 8:30 p.m.) until 11 p.m.
The shuttle return pick up area is next to Galena City Hall (the same drop off location you arrived) and you must show your bracelet to ride.
If you plan on staying in downtown Galena later than 11 p.m. please arrange for a LYFT driver, or self arranged travel back to your car.
Paid Shuttle Service
Hotel guests have an option to shuttle downtown. The DBQ/Galena Trolley is a private company, working with local hotels to provide this service. (your staff and customers can reference this webpage page)
The shuttle will operate through mid-November. Operating time and cost:
• Saturdays 10am –8:30pm
• Sunday from 10am–3pm
• Cost: $10/person for a round trip.
• $20/person for an all-day pass.
• Kids 12 and under free

• Country Inn
• Stoney Creek
We are advising overnight guests to ask their hotel concierge to confirm specific pickup times.
